When Living Waters Asia screened for free the newest movie from Sherwood Baptist Church, COURAGEOUS, last Feb. 11 at SM Baliuag mall, those that got to view it there gave their double thumbs up for the movie.  They view the theme of the movie as very timely.  A lot of them voiced their disappointment that they weren't able to bring their friends and relatives to the event.  And there are those that failed to secure for themselves and their friends reservation tickets, that's why they missed seeing the movie, who are still disgusted of themselves for their lack of action.

Despair no more!  For those in the Bulacan area, LWA will be doing another screening of COURAGEOUS on Feb. 19.  The venue will be at Mustard Seed Christian Baptist Church, San Pedro, Bustos, Bulacan.  Screening will start at exactly 5 pm.  Just like in the first screening of the movie, this will be free.  No need to secure a reservation ticket.  Just go to the venue and that's it.  You just have to come early as seats will be on a first come, first served basis.

We are working on finding partners to have COURAGEOUS screened free in other provinces.  Please pray for this.  We'll make an announcement here as soon as we set up one near you.

A few years back, Living Waters Asia showed the third movie produced by Sherwood Baptist Church, FIREPROOF, here in the Philippines.  This year, LWA has again bought a license to show Sherwood Baptist Church's newest movie, COURAGEOUS, here in the country.  The movie is not due to be shown here in the Philippines, that's why LWA is bringing it here. To make things more exciting, LWA will be showing it at SM Baliuag on February 11 of this year FREE!  Yes, you read it right.  It will be shown FREE!.

LWA's purpose for bringing it here and in showing it free is to use the movie as a springboard to share the biblical Gospel.  The two (2) free screenings on February 11 is for the unsaved (12pm and 2:30pm).  Although the movie deals with parenting issues and teaches biblical parenting principles, we want to draw the unsaved to the event for the Gospel preaching at the end of each screening.  So if you represent a church or a Christian organization and there are people you are trying lead to Christ, here's how you can reserve free tickets for them starting on January 20, 2012:

        Step 1: Go to our office at 3-B Juzmag Bldg., Plaza Naning, Poblacion, Baliuag, Bulacan, from Monday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm

        Step 2:  We then give you a reservation stub for your ticket (maximum of 3 tickets for individuals / 6 tickets if representing a church or Christian organization - reservation must be for people you are winning to Christ). The reservation stub we will give you will depend on what screening time you prefer to attend.
          Step 3: Be at SM Baliuag Cinema 4 AT LEAST 30 minutes before either of the two screening schedules to get your movie ticket (be sure to bring your reservation stub).  If your ticket is not claimed 30 minutes before the start of the screening, your ticket will be given to people in the mall, thereby, cancelling your chance to watch the movie.

There are many evangelistic mission trips by other Christian groups out there waiting for all of us to be a part of.  But reality is, no matter how much we want to join all of them to give glory to God, we can't do that.  But there are ways you can have a significant part in these mission trips.  You can be a prayer partner, you can give your financial support, or do both.  Living Waters Asia's GOSPEL BUZZ 2011 is one evangelistic mission trip you can be a part of.

From October 23 to 28, Living Waters Asia will be in Davao to deliver the Gospel message through tracts, open-air preaching and one-to-one sessions from morning to evening.  Soli Deo Gloria Christian Ministries will be our partner church in this trip.  Why Davao? Well Davao is such a diverse province. Catholics and Muslims abound in this province.  Davao is also where the 3 million strong cult group of the self-appointed "Christ for the Gentiles", Apollo Quiboloy, is situated.  The Christians of Davao need reinforcement from other Christians in bringing the true Gospel to this province, and LWA is ready to give that hand.

You know all about our desire to bring our Way of the Master Seminar to Singapore.  To make this dream a reality, we need you to connect us with a pastor of a church in Singapore.  As an incentive to anyone who knows a church there who is serious when it comes to evangelism, we are willing to give away a FREE leather-bound OT/NT Evidence Bible. Where will Living Waters Asia and Star Youth Ministries going for this year's evangelistic mission trip?  D-A-V-A-O will be the target city this year.  The team of about 20 young evangelists will be in the land of the Philippine Eagle and the Durian from October 23 to 28 to deliver the Gospel message through tracts, open-air preaching and one-to-one sessions from morning to evening.  Soli Deo Gloria Christian Ministries' address will be printed on each of the 25,000+ Gospel tracts the team will be bringing.  SDGCM was also our host church when we held a Way of the Master seminar in Davao last April.  We are expecting attendees of that seminar to reinforce the LWA team during the October trip.  The team will also spend one day of evangelism at Tagum City while there.

We are currently praying for the opportunity to do a Way of the Master seminar in Singapore.  In line with this, we need your help in getting a contact church there. If anyone among you knows a Christian church in Singapore and personally know the head pastor of that church or knows someone in that country who personally knows one, please introduce us to them and then give us their contact details (email address, mailing address, phone number, etc.) so we can start communicating with them.  We plan to send them audio CDs of Way of the Master foundational messages to kick start our introduction to them of what biblical evangelism is. The church should be a Singaporean English-speaking church, and not just a Filipino church operating in Singapore.

The reason why we are praying for a WOTM seminar in Singapore is because we believe they can handle the English language well as our seminar is in English and they are in close proximity with Malaysia and Indonesia.  We believe that if we can get the principle of biblical evangelism to Singapore first, we can then start planning to bring the principle to the two neighboring nations.

You might have noticed the change in the menu structure. We moved some things around so hopefully everything would be easier for you to access.

We moved the Events, Ministry Updates, this What's New section to the About the Ministry menu and we added the News & Articles menu for... well.. News & Articles.

With the changes, we also added a new section, the News from around the globe. This will contain news about our fellow Christians from around the globe. And to start that off, we've posted a video on how Christians are being treated in Africa. Just a word of warning, due to the graphic nature of the video, you might not want your children to see this. It's definitely not for the faint of heart.
