GOSPEL BUZZ 2014 will be in Tacloban City!

After spending much time in prayer, Living Waters Asia has decided to go to Tacloban City for this year's edition of our yearly evangelistic mission trip.  We all know what happened to this city last year when a super typhoon hit this part of the country.  An estimated 7,000+ people lost their lives because of that calamity with thousands more losing their homes.

A year after, even with lots of help coming from outside of the city, the place still needs more rays of hope.  Yes, our donations for the rebuilding of the city will help.  But the scar of the lost in the heart of every resident of the city will continue to inflict pain.  Only a correct understanding of why such an event happened will help in the start of the healing process.  And then we bring in the kind of hope that only the Gospel can give, we can help the people of Tacloban understand that despite the disaster that God allowed, He still has deep love for them and wants them to experience Heaven with Him someday.  This is the reason that we believe that the best foundation for the rebuilding of Tacloban City is the Gospel.

We will be in this city from October 24 to 30.  We hope to be available in the streets of Tacloban City night and day, distributing Gospel tracts, doing one-to-ones and open-air preaching just like in previous mission trips we have done.
