As most schools in the Philippines end their school year in the month of March, we expect lots of opportunities for evangelism as there will be lots of people around. And that's what LWA started the summer season with.
Every year, Living Waters Asia conducts an overnight event for the graduating junior high school class of Notre Christi Academy of the Philippines. As in the past, this was a fun -filled event for the students as they had to compete with each other for prizes. But the highlight of the night was the Gospel message that Dennis Mark Aglosolos delivered at the end of the evening event. He spoke of the Gospel as the most important message that every person must respond to, and the response would dictate their eternal destiny.
March 24 came next. In the calendar, this is known as Holy Thursday. The members of the congregation of Living Waters Asia trooped to Clark, Pampanga, and conducted evangelism in the area. Armed with Gospel tracts and ready to strike conversations with people leading to a presentation of the Gospel message, everyone braved the heat of the summer sun and went around the market and transportation areas. A total of 43 members of the church joined. After the evangelism session, the group had a lunch fellowship at a nearby park.
We have several upcoming evangelism events for the rest of the summer and we hope that you'll pray for us as we continue to heed the Great Commission.
