Last August 7, Living Waters Asia held its Philippine screening of the movie AUDACITY at SM City Baliuag, Cinema 3. The three screenings were made free for everyone that's why lots of people came for the event. The line for the LWA event made so insignificant the lines of people going to see other movies showing at the mall that time like the Hollywood blockbuster, "Ant-Man".
After every screening, LWA director, Dennis Mark Aglosolos spent 20 to 25 minutes to discuss the issue of same-sex marriage and homosexuality in light of how God views them as conveyed by the Bible. It was also in this talk that Dennis shared the Gospel to those in attendance. The feedback for the event were so encouraging. Read what one Christian who attended the event wrote in her Facebook account about the free screening:
"Got the privilege of watching 'AUDACITY' yesterday at SM Baliuag. T'was so far, I considered the finest Christian film I ever viewed. I've never just gazed it as a flick to reach homosexuals, but rather, I scanned it in various angles. The significance of its characters detailed how the Sovereign God let individuals be a part of our lives, to minister and to be ministered...yes, and it's always for a boundless purpose . I caught myself crying in the middle of the film not because I was so 'touched' but for realizing that there's an enormous work that awaits in the field. I maybe talking to myself...alone, but I want this piece to be a reminder for me along with the people I grow up with in the ministry. Furthermore, my joy exceeded when Bro. Dennis stood up after the film and avowed God's love, not condemnation, but freedom and peace. The film is a great tool for Church evangelism and crusades."
Please pray for those who attended the screening. It is also our desire to do more of these screenings soon so please pray also that God would open doors for us to do this.
