Our mission trip in Bohol from Oct. 26 to 30 was truly blessed by God as we were able to do what we went there for. Thousands of Gospel tracts were distributed, hundreds of "The Biggest Question" DVDs were given out and conversations about the Gospel were done to several of the very accommodating Boholanos. We were even able to conduct a "Way of the Master" seminar while we were there at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Batuan, Bohol.
We believe that God arranged things for us there so that the Gospel can be truly delivered. The hotel we stayed at in Tagbilaran City on our first day, unknown to us when we checked in, was the venue of three (3) government regional conventions. We waited for the delegates as their respective conventions ended. As they went out, we gave them "The Biggest Question" DVDs and Gospel tracts. Thinking that they were part of the giveaways of the conventions, the delegates gladly took them.
Our next town was at Loboc. This is where the very famous Loboc River is. Thousands of local and foreign tourists come here everyday to experience the Loboc River tour. We waited for them and distributed to them copies of the Gospel. And just like in Tagbilaran City, there was a government convention happening at Loboc, this time in their multi-purpose gymnasium were close to 500 people were in attendance. We gladly greeted them as they left the convention and gave them our very famous "Are You a Good Person?" comic tract.
Then we moved to the towns of Batuan and Carmen. Partnering with a local missionary there and his family, Ptr. Andrew Ancog brought us to the community that he is trying to reach for Christ. We excitedly trekked more than 2 kms. of rough road just so we can deliver the Gospel to people in that very humble and accommodating community.
After visiting the Chocolate Hills of Bohol in Carmen, we went back to Tagbilaran City to catch people who were busily going through the very lively business area of the city. We were able to give out several thousands of tracts in that one afternoon there.
In the morning that we were flying back to Manila, we were in unison with our gratitude to God for making GOSPEL BUZZ 2015 a big success. We thanked Him for the people He used to provide for the needs of the trip and for those who prayed for us. Again, yes, we were tired. No. Actually we were very exhausted. But despite that, we were all looking forward to GOSPEL BUZZ 2016!
