For the 8th time in seven years, Living Waters Asia has provided Christmas cheers for the residents of Tanglaw Pag-asa (Ray of Hope) facility, the provincial juvenile jail of the province of Bulacan. Last December 9, LWA held its much awaited event in the facility. LWA's managing director, Dennis Mark Y. Aglosolos, has been holding a weekly Bible study here for the last seven years.
The usual things that you expect in Christmas parties were experienced once again by the residents. There were lots of exciting games, prizes, Christmas carols singing and of course, food!
After all the fun, Dennis delivered the Christmas message for the year. He talked about how the wise men sought the Savior, and when He was found, how they worshiped, offered gifts and made sure that they protect the baby Jesus from Herod's plan of killing Him. It was emphasized that everyone needs the Savior in their lives for without Him, man faces the punishment for his sins. And as children of God, our lives must be focused on worshiping God, offering to Him our lives as living sacrifice and living this life with consciousness that we must not do anything that will tarnish in the eyes of people the God we proclaim as our Lord.
Please pray for the residents of this facility and that God will continue to use LWA in bringing them to a deeper knowledge and relationship with God.
