There will be times that people you witness to will throw at you questions like the two guys in this witnessing clip. Learn to determine if their questions are legitimate or just efforts to bring you to a doctrinal debate. When we say "legitimate questions", we mean questions that would make their understanding of their need for a Savior clearer like "Is the God of other religions the same?", or "Is there really a Heaven and a Hell?". If these questions come up, welcome them and encourage them to ask more, especially those that may be bothering them. Remember that when these questions are asked, there is a chance that they are seriously considering the message you delivered to them.
CFCM volunteer-teacher conducts CVFC
“Let the children come to Me and do not stop them because the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14, Luke 18:16, Mark 10:14)
These are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ that has inspired CFCM to keep on sharing the message of salvation to children. This school year, CFCM started in eighteen public (18) elementary schools in Pampanga and in Bulacan the Children’s Values Formation Class (CVFC) where we are able to reach out to more or less 6,000 unchurched children. CVFC is a once a week 30-minute Bible class where Bible stories, memory verses and songs are being taught. In partnership with 10 Bible believing churches and with at least 50 volunteer teachers; the work is being done with joy and gladness.
Ptr. Andrew Ancog uses the curve illusion
Please keep praying for Children for Christ Ministry as they plan to do a three-day Children’s Evangelistic Crusade (CEC) in San Luis Pampanga on August 24-26 where 17 public elementary schools and high schools with more than 8,000 students await to hear the message of salvation. They will be joined by partner churches in the area.
If you want to give your support to CFCM through Living Waters Asia, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and please specify that the support you will be giving is for CFCM by making your email subject: Giving to CFCM. We will be very happy to directly give them 100% of what you intend to send them so you can be their valuable partner in reaching Filipino children for Christ.
A little snack time before the tracts distribution
Last July 28, Living Waters Asia, with participation from it's evangelism arm for children, Children for Christ Ministry (CFCM), distributed Gospel tracts at SM North EDSA and in surrounding areas. Joining the team is a ministry partner from the USA, Mary Anne Stevens. A week after, Mary Anne also joined LWA's weekly street evangelism at Baliuag, Bulacan.
The typhoon that week did not dampen the desire of the group to do evangelism that day at the famed mall (the largest in the Philippines). The team divided into three teams. One team distributed tracts inside the mall, another outside the mall where public transportation vehicles were loaded passengers, and the third team crossed the very busy street of EDSA to distribute their tracts to pedestrians. It was fun to serve the Lord that day because of the fellowship the team had with Mary Anne.
Watch out for the next Manila evangelism LWA will have soon. They plan to be at the University of the Philippines, Diliman Campus to distribute thousands of a specially-produced Gospel tract for this specific event. Please pray for this upcoming event.
