Children For Christ Ministry, the evangelism arm of Living Waters Asia in reaching school children in the Bulacan and Pampanga provinces of the Philippines, had a kick off event last June 25 at the LWA headquarters. The event was meant to challenge the volunteers of the team to give their all for School Year 2011-2012 in reaching thousands of grade school kids for Christ.
Organized by its main trainer and program head, Ms. Arleen Valdez, the kick off was attended by volunteers and committee members. Dennis Mark Y. Aglosolos delivered the challenge message for the attendees. He spoke on the obedience that Noah showed when he was instructed by God to make an ark.
CFCM yearly reaches tens of thousands of children in their ten months of school visits. This year, their goal is to share the biblical Gospel to 50,000 children.
Please pray for CFCM.
A lot of Christians are either afraid of witnessing or clueless on how to share the Gospel to homosexuals. They know that gays and lesbians are very (erroneously) passionate in defending their lifestyle. Should we point out to them the fact that "...homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God..." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) every time we witness to them and run the risk of getting into a heated argument with them? My answer is "Yes" and "No". Yes, if you have developed enough rapport with them already for you to be straightforward with declarations from the Scriptures, and have them not be offended with it. No, because the root of the homosexual sin is the offense of the 7th Commandment--- "Thou shall not commit adultery". This means that if I've shown a gay individual that just by looking with lust at someone, he or she has already committed adultery in God's sight, the immorality of the homosexual lifestyle has already been addressed.
Watch this witnessing clip with Wendy and be encouraged to reach out with the Gospel to our gay and lesbian friends.
