We are very happy to report to you that the Way of the Master seminar we conducted this week (April 21) in Davao City (Mindanao Island) hosted by Soli Deo Gloria Christian Ministries was such a big success. All glory and praise we give to God!
We trained about 200 Christians coming from different churches, with several delegates traveling as long as 5 hours just to attend the event. There were also delegates who were involved in reaching the Muslims of the region during the training.
A guest that got his WOTM training from the Evangelism Boot Camp 10 conducted by Ray Comfort and Living Waters in the USA, Darrel Nelson, was also present. He gave his testimony on how this principle helped him and his ministry. He came with his lovely wife, Shannen. What they shared really inspired a lot of the delegates. The questions given by the delegates during the Q & A really showed the interests a lot had about the principle. At the end of the seminar, the LWA team received a lot of very encouraging feedback and requests for partnership in evangelism programs from several of the delegates. The host church was so encouraged by the turn out that they are already talking to LWA about doing it again, a bigger one in a bigger venue.
We also gave away FREE "God has a Wonderful Plan" books to the attendees, as well as "Hell's Best Kept Secret" audio CDs. The benefits of attending the event were really a blessing for everyone.
We would like to extend our thanks to several people who helped made the event truly memorable. First, Rev. Jurem Ramos, Sis. Arlene and the members of Soli Deo Gloria Christian Ministries (www.sdgchurch.org) for helping us organize and promote this event. Darrell and Shannon Nelson (www.crosscultureministries.com) for sharing their experiences using the Way of the Master in their ministry. We really hope we can work with you guys again in the near future.
Events like this are where your monetary support go to. More Christians are equipped and challenged to be more involved in evangelism as a result of our WOTM seminars. Please continue partnering with us.

April 16, 2006, a group of 9 young people plus Dennis Mark Y. Aglosolos bonded themselves with the goal of sharing the Gospel to as many people as possible the way Jesus did and train other Christians to do the same. Soon after, this group which later came to be known as Star Youth Ministries (from Daniel 12:3 "...they that turn many to righteousness (shall shine) as the stars forever and ever.") became the official evangelism arm of Living Waters Asia.
For five years, this group has been faithful to the call God gave them. We congratulate the members of the Star Youth Ministries for reaching this milestone of Christian service and praise the Lord for how He has guided the group to faithfully heed the Great Commission.

WOTM Seminar at Shekinah Christian Church
God has blessed the staging of our first two WOTM seminars for the month of April. Our April 2nd seminar at Shekinah Christian Church at Manila exceeded the number of attendees that we expected. Christians young and old graced the event. The members of the church really supported the training. Several kind-hearted members of the church even donated food for all of the participants. The free food made the fellowship during lunch and snack time (one in the morning and another after the seminar) very enjoyable. To view a slides show of this seminar, click this link: Pictures
WOTM Seminar for leaders of Guiguinto Pastoral Association
The April 9th seminar conducted for the members of the Guiguinto Pastoral Association was also a success. This event took place at the Christian Family Fellowship Center at Guguinto, Bulacan. Pastors that attended this event expressed their desire to help spread the principle they learned to other churches. In fact, one pastor, Ronil Domingo, even asked for permission to allow him translate to Filipino our seminar study guide so that Filipino Christians who are not that comfortable with the English language can easily understand the training hand-out. Ptr. Domingo is now also trying to organize a WOTM seminar for churches in Nueva Ecija before the end of this month.
Judging from the interest the attendees of these two seminars showed during the Q & As, we believe that God has opened the eyes of many compassionate Christians to the truth of the biblical Gospel message. May God open more doors of opportunity for WOTM seminars.
Students given the time to speak their hearts to God after the message
Last March 22, the LWA team spent a whole night with the high school graduating class of Notre Christi Academy of the Philippines (NCAP) at the school's gym at Bustos, Bulacan. Living Waters Asia conducts this yearly recollection time for NCAP with the goal of sharing the Gospel for the last time, to the graduating class of the school. LWA also is the one that facilitates the school's retreat for their graduating class which happens every September. The Gospel is also the main highlight of this retreat.
There were games, food, prizes and lots of time for the students to give their parting messages to their beloved batch mates. Lots of tears flowed during this sharing time. The final part of the event was the Gospel message that Dennis Mark Y. Aglosolos delivered at around 2:00 in the morning.
Please pray for this young people.
