Every year, Notre Christi Academy of the Philippines taps the assistance of Living Waters Asia in facilitating its recollection night for their graduating high school students. Last March 14, LWA again held the same event.
The goal was to make it a night to remember for the graduating class. LWA made sure that was accomplished. The team organized games that really made everyone laugh and enjoy. It was late in the evening but all of the students were wide-awake as they joined activities. Students also played basketball and volleyball.
By the middle of the night, LWA gave a time for the students to say their "THANKS" to their batchmates for making their high school experience so memorable. There were tears everywhere as students realized that in a week's time, they'll be officially saying goodbye to their school and their friends.
The event did not end without one final declaration of the Gospel to the students. Dennis Mark Aglosolos shared his testimony on how God made him realize that despite him believing that he's already good enough to get to Heaven, he was still Hell-bound because of his sins. Dennis challenged everyone to examine themselves to see if they really deserve Heaven. That's when the life-giving Gospel was shared, with emphasis on the need to be sure that one has received already God's gift of salvation before it's too late.
Please continue praying for the salvation of these young people.
We praise God for how He has given Living Waters Asia numerous opportunities in the past to share the Gospel to crowds. Just like what happened last March 12.
Bulacan State University (Bustos, Bulacan campus) is currently celebrating its 39th founding anniversary. To continue with their month-long celebrations, BSU organized a parenting seminar last March 12. Living Waters Asia's managing director, Dennis Mark Y. Aglosolos was invited as the resource person for parenting because of his background in child and family development and his experience as a school principal.
Dennis shared his knowledge on parenting as well as biblical guidance on how to efficiently perform parenting responsibilities. He zeroed in on the importance of behavior modelling in the guidance of children. But the LWA managing director's main goal in mind for the parenting talk was to share the Gospel to the audience of the event. By God's grace, that was accomplished as about 600 parents, students, professors and university officials heard him declare a clear and biblical Gospel message. We thank the Lord for the great response to the message that was delivered.
Please pray for more opportunities like this for LWA.
